ENJOY EASTERN HIMALAYAN BEAUTY

BHUTAN – DARJEELING – SIKKIM – JALDAPARA

TOUR ITINERARY:

11 NIGHTS & 12 DAYS TOUR

1 DAY: BAGDOGRA / New Jalpaiguri TO PHUNTSHOLING(150KMS-4HRS)
We arrive at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Station and then depart by a tourist coach for the border town on Bhutan,  Phuntsholing & halt.

2 Day: PHUNTSHOLING – THIMPU (160 KMS – 06 HRS)
After breakfast and the visa formalities we start for Thimpu, the capital of Bhutan, Enroute, enjoy a memorable drive through the mighty  Himalayas, reaching in 06 hrs. Evening free time for stroll & halt for the night.

3 Day: THIMPU – PARO (50 KMS – 2 HRS)
After breakfast we enjoy the sight seeing of Thimpu valley. Star attractions are: - (1)   Tashichho Dzong, the National Assembly (2) Bhutanese Stupa, or Chorten. (3) Bhutanese art and Craft Emporium, etc. Afterwards start for Paro, reach after 2 hrs & halt.

4 Day: PARO
Paro has the most beautiful and enchanting valley with fields  brown, yellow and  green covering  most of the valley – floor. Enjoy the local sight seeing at Paro including Drugyel Dzong, an ancient and impregnable defense post against attacking armies.Visit Paro Musuem and the only Airport of Bhutan at Paro.

5 Day: PARO – JALDAPARA (190 KMS – 7 HRS)
After breakfast a beautiful drive to Jaldapara Forest. Here we move from Mountains of Bhutan to Dooars Forest. & Halt.

6 Day: JALDAPARA FOREST – New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra
Early morning get ready for the memorable Elephant Ride in deep Forest in search of wild animals like Deer, Bison, Rhinos etc in their natural habitat. Afternoon , start for BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / N.J.P Station.

7TH DAY: DEOLO – GANGTOK (3 ½ HRS)
After breakfast start for Gangtok, reach after 3 ½ hrs & halt.

8TH DAY: GANGTOK – TSANGU LAKE (near China border)
This is a memorable day for sight seeing as you will visit a high altitude lake (3603 mts.) Tsangu Lake & Baba Mandir.  Back to the Hotel and rest.

9TH DAY: GANGTOK –DARJEELING (90 KMS – 5HRS)
After breakfast, we start for Darjeeling. Enroute we see the mighty and swift Teesta River. Evening free for Stroll & halt.

10TH DAY: DARJEELING SIGHT SEEING
Darjeeling sight seeing after breakfast. 7 points sights seeing which include Mountaineering Institute, Himalayan Zoo, Tea Gardens, Tenzing Rock etc. Enjoy Momo, the Nepali dish. After lunch, visit the Rock Garden and Gangamaiya Park.
We arrive at Bagdogra Airport and then depart by a tourist coach for the border town of Bhutan, Phuntsholing & halt.

11TH DAY: DARJEELING – MIRIK
Early morning start for Tiger Hill (Sunrise Point) to get the golden reflection of the first rays of the sun on the mighty snow capped Kanchenjunga. On the way back visit Ghum Monastery and Battasia Loop. After Break fast, start for Mirik, reach after 3 hrs & halt

12TH DAY:  MIRIK – BAGDOGRA  / New Jalpaiguri Station
After Break fast, Boating in Mirik Lake & Horse ride. Afternoon, start for BAGDOGRA AIRPORT / New Jalpaiguri Station
